Programs & Services

Here are the core services we provide to help returning citizens rebuild their lives with stability and dignity.

Reentry Support Group

Home for Good’s bi-weekly Reentry Support Group held in Newark, NJ offers a safe, encouraging space for men returning from incarceration to build community and confidence. Participants set personal goals, practice healthy communication, and receive guidance for navigating relationships and conflicting expectations during reentry. The group provides accountability, peer support, and tools for long-term success. Anyone interested in joining can connect with us to learn more about upcoming sessions.

Housing Program

Home for Good provides safe, stable, community-based housing in New Jersey for men returning from incarceration who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. More than shelter, our homes offer security, belonging, and a foundation for rebuilding a full and independent life. Residents have access to supportive services that strengthen financial stability, wellness, and reintegration. Funders and partners play a vital role in helping us open—and keep open—doors to hope.

Wraparound Services

Our wraparound services connect returning citizens in New Jersey with the critical resources needed to rebuild their lives. We offer support with job readiness assessments, educational and vocational pathways, counseling and employment referrals that strengthen stability and reduce barriers. Participants receive personalized guidance tailored to their goals and strengths. Funders and volunteers help make these life-changing opportunities possible by supporting program expansion and community partnerships.
